The new coronavirus presented us all with new challenges and changed our everyday lives significantly. Especially in these difficult and uncertain times, we have been and continue to be there for you.

The safe medical care of our patients always has priority and is a challenge for all of us.

At Klinik Meissenberg, we adhere to the rules of conduct and hygiene issued by the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) and the guidelines of the Department of Health of the canton of Zug. In the canton of Zug, the cantonal Covid Ordinance expired on 31 March 2022. This also meant that the requirements for mandatory mask wearing in healthcare facilities were lifted.

Visits by relatives and caregivers are possible by prior arrangement and in strict compliance with the hygiene measures and the currently valid visiting and leave policies at Klinik Meissenberg AG. Our patients are regularly informed about the current regulations. Visitors with coronavirus symptoms are not allowed to visit patients.
 

We have adapted our inpatient and outpatient services as follows:

  • Outpatient consultations and preliminary consultations are possible on site in compliance with safety and hygiene measures.
  • Emergency and planned elective admissions are possible at any time following prior contact with our triage service.
  • For referrals for inpatient treatment, please continue to send our online form to «sekretariat@meissenberg.ch» (Phone +41 41 726 57 57).
  • In an emergency, our triage service is available round the clock on the direct telephone number. (Phone +41 41 726 58 17)
  • Increased safety measures apply to inpatient admissions.

If you have symptoms of illness, please do not come to the clinic without contacting us first.

We are doing everything we can to ensure protection against coronavirus infection so that our patients feel safe with us and can benefit from their important treatment.

The costs of a Long COVID-19 consultation are covered by compulsory health insurance.
