The clinic is managed on the basis of ethical, social, ecological and economically and socially responsible principles. The aim is to provide each individual patient and society as a whole with the best possible support in their endeavours to achieve health and quality of life. EFQM certification “Qualified by EFQM”
Klinik Meissenberg received EFQM certification “Qualified by EFQM” in autumn 2024.
The EFQM model is a globally recognised framework for action that supports companies and organisations in improving their performance and competitiveness and successfully shaping change. The central approach of the model is to combine the purpose, vision and strategy of an organisation with its culture, leadership at all levels and sustainable structures. It shows how an organisation creates sustainable benefits for its key stakeholders and achieves outstanding results.
The model helps organisations to maximise their success by demonstrating their progress towards sustainable benefits, identifying areas for action and making solutions understandable. The findings from the EFQM validation are incorporated into a comprehensive action plan, together with results from other quality measurements that are continuously carried out at the clinic. By implementing these measures, Klinik Meissenberg is constantly improving its quality and services.
In the healthcare sector, the EFQM model raises awareness among service providers of the need for continuous improvement. As a specialist psychiatric and psychotherapeutic clinic for women, we use the model to advance psychiatric care and actively involve employees in optimising operational processes.
Our aim is to systematically scrutinise our services, continuously optimise processes, promote new ideas and efficiently integrate change into our patient-focused services.
Further information on the EFQM Recognition programme can be found on the SAQ website.
REKOLE® certification
Klinik Meissenberg AG fulfils the requirements of REKOLE®, the standard developed by H+ for transparent, efficient and operational accounting in hospitals and clinics and nursing homes.
The REKOLE® manual provides hospitals and clinics with a clear, standardised and practical foundation. It defines binding minimum requirements for modern business management and serves as a reference for accurate cost and performance accounting.

To ensure compliance with these standards, H+ has developed its own certification system. This verifies that the company accounting system complies with the REKOLE® specifications and certifies correct implementation as a seal of quality. The aim is to confirm the high reliability of the cost data, to facilitate benchmarking between clinics and to promote the dissemination of REKOLE® in the sector.
As part of this procedure, Klinik Meissenberg AG received confirmation that the cost and performance accounting system had been correctly implemented and that the company accounting system fully complies with REKOLE® requirements (Version 2.0). The certification is valid up to and including 16 July 2029.
