Unfortunately, there's no general answer to this question. It depends on the symptoms and the specific department involved.

Whether you have general or supplementary insurance, you're in good hands with us. We obtain all necessary cost approvals directly from your insurer. If you have foreign insurance, we will also obtain a cost approval, but the costs will be billed directly to you. If an insurer cannot guarantee coverage for surcharges from supplementary insurance benefits, an appropriate, individually agreed advance payment is required.

Depending on the clinic's capacity, it is possible to upgrade your insurance class to a higher level at your own expense. For any questions regarding the costs of your hospital stay, please contact our clinic administration (Phonetel:+49 41 726 57 57. +49 41 726 57 57).

We ask you to travel by public transport if possible. This is partly because, due to your illness and/or any ongoing or newly initiated medication, you are not permitted to drive a vehicle. Our therapy consists of a multimodal treatment program: In an individual setting, you will receive regular consultations with your case-lead therapist. This is usually supplemented by group psychotherapy (or more depending on the individual program), weekly visits from the attending physicians, and primary care consultations.

The program also includes various specialized therapies in the areas of dance and movement therapy, art and design therapy, and occupational therapy. Furthermore, we will connect you with our internal social services team if needed.

As an adult psychiatrist, we generally treat patients aged 18 and older.

As part of our care mandate in the cantons of Zurich, Zurich, and Zurich, patients aged 16 and older can also be admitted after a preliminary consultation. The assessment is carried out on an individual basis by the triage team at the Meissenberg Clinic.

Minors from other cantons can only be admitted after prior approval of the costs by the responsible cantonal physicians or child and adolescent psychiatric services. Here, too, the assessment is carried out on an individual basis by the triage team at the Meissenberg Clinic.
