Anxiety & Emotion Regulation
For young women with complex emotion regulation disorders (borderline and other personality disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder), the focus is on sustainable therapy with intensive behavioural therapy and integrative approaches.
The Anxiety & Emotion Regulation department specialises in treating women who have difficulties regulating their emotions, suffer from anxiety and/or compulsions and are experiencing a crisis of meaning and life. The goal is to improve emotional regulation and develop coping strategies for stress. We work with patients to develop an understanding of their own personal issues, encouraging them to access their feelings and deal with them in a functional way.
Our treatment strategy is coordinated in a multi-professional team and adapted to the individual needs of the patients. The aim is to restore basic functionality, develop resources and gain a sense of direction in life. The basic prerequisites are sufficient self-motivation and a willingness to accept treatment in an open inpatient setting and internal inpatient structures.
